In my round, McFly and I are tied and have played all other games. When do we get a tie breaker, or when do we move on to round 2?

Certain Maciek !  !  !

It so happens that the departure remained out of time on the part of kbalogh_HUN, with what was assigned me the victory with all its consequences (scoring in the rating, etc.)

Later it disappeared that victory but the only trace that remained of her has been the one that comments Maciek, that is to say, in the tournament and the departure continues its course...

Question?

If you look at group 23 you will notice that Atenorio has a win over kbalogh_HUN but their game is still in progress.  Am I missing something or is that an error?

Just want to make sure I'm not loosing my mind Undecided

http://www.chess.com/tournaments/help.html#knockout

The winner in each group goes to the next round.  So there may be 23 groups reduced to 4 groups of 6 (or so).  Then the 4 winners of those groups go to a final.

Still, 52% of timeouts is pretty high. In part because of several players missing the first day of the tournament then because of players not carefulenough bout thei time management.

1 person goes through from each group (unless there are ties, then those who are tied go through.

There are 23 groups, so i imagine there will be three 2nd round groups of 7,8,8 in each group? If there are ties, then there might be a few more people.
