The United States Chess Federation is currently holding elections to it's board, so if you are a member of the USCF don't forget to exercise your democratic right and vote!
Some information on the election and the candidates can be found here and here.
Boy, those were nasty remarks made on Polgar's blog about her being an immigrant ( from the link supplied ). Well, let's not forget that Maxim Dlugy was an immigrant ( maybe still is ) when he became President of the USCF. So, Polgar or Truong are not breaking new ground. Although the comments are nasty and racially inclined that could appeal to some people, I think only a very small group of voters will be swayed by them. People will vote for or against Polgar or Truong based on a very different criterion than race.
