Judit Polgar is comfortably the strongest female chess player in the history of the game. Born on 23 July 1976, she has been successfully playing the top male chess players on equal terms for over a decade.

She achieved the Grandmaster title aged just 15 years and 4 months - at that time the youngest person to do so.

Along with her elder sisters, Susan and Sofia, she was coached by her father Lazlo Polgar to show that 'genius' can in fact be taught by intensive tuition from a young age.

Judit Polgar has proved that women can compete as well as men in the top echelons of chess.

Judith Polgar's (chess) appearance is -in some measure- a cornerstone in human history! There wasn't any other woman who stood against the top ranking men in a die-hard-competitive activity!!! Thus, a beautiful beginning - by all means!

Could the site offer us some of the greatest games of (... oooppsss!!! I am not used but ... I will!...) her? I only saw his great win against Anand! Edit: her!!!

She is definitely the best female chess player of all time, but she never has held the Women's World Championship because of her dad. He wanted her to compete against the best male players & not play for the W. W. C.. Her sister Susan went against her dad's advice & became the W. W. C.. I've always admired her courage & intelligence on the chess board. I've always thought that she was pretty, but I thought that her sister Susan was prettier. After looking @ this picture of her I'm not so sure of that. She's every bit as hot as Susan & maybe even hotter!
