hmm.. what if 2. ... Ne5? Either they exchange queens or black queen can escape.

Good point, is there a way to set up the board so that viewer can perform any moves they want (to try various lines)?actj22 wrote:

Even if black moves the knight, white can still avoid it and capture the black's queen.

What I thought of when I made the comment was..

1. Nc3 Qb2 2. Bc1 Ne5 3. Qe3 Nc4 4. Qd4 Nd5

This will result in the loss of the knight but black was up a rook and a knight at the beginning so he is still ahead.

Note that 4. Bxc4 is possibe but that allows the black queen to escape.
