News!!!, My Chess Champion Joymee O. Morales(a sophomore)13 years old,Ncfp rating 1797 has just finished a School tryout in Caloocan High School.She is now Board 1 as expected and her 5th straight year to play in the District Tournament,her Board 2 is Pauline May David her chess partner in NCR 2004 when Joymee was still a newcomer.Pauline May is a senior(4th year).Augst 29,2008 is the date slated for" District Chess Competition".God willing she hurdle the District,next will be the Division Tournament in Caloocan City.Next to that is The Regional Tournament,"The NCR Palaro"where she was a Champion in 2007,she was still elementary grade at that time.The National Tournament ," The Palarong Pambansa "is the last and most prestigiousof all. fr ChessTrainor.

Barcelon vs.Nico Adriel Paguagan<UST>,site:Tan Chan See Building,UST,Manila Phils.Game Background:Bryan is losing in the middle game until he found a brilliant but silent move.Unnoticeable.a Vacating Sacrifice on move 26. b6!.Seemingly a simple move ignored by his opponent, and Whalah!it save his game but still very dangerous and volatile for he made an endgame mistake resulting in a situation that he is one move to be mated.So he look hard again and found another brilliancy,to escape his berserk attacking foe.All the while his team mates all thought that he had lost the game,because they did not see his vacating sacrifice.Please Feel Free To Comment,here is the game.

ADMU(Ateneo De Manila University) Hardest game of Bryan ends up in a book draw,1/2-1/2.UE vs ADMU 2-2,After first Round Robin,UE ends in third place,last Sunday was the start of the Final(2nd) Round Robin.First Round Robin Team Results;

ADMU (Ateneo De Manila University)>> 18.5points {first};

AdU(Adamson University)>>17.5points {second};

UE(University of the East)>>16.5points {third}.

Note : Both Round Robin will be added up to determine Overall Chess Team Champion,UE has still a chance to take the lead.UE was 2006 Junior Chess Champion,UE was third in 2007.2008 who knows?

My Kid Champion Joymee O.Morales won as Champion The District Tournament in the "Pobcaran Family Meet" 4 High Schools Competed, namely; Caloocan High School, Caloocan City Science High School,Tandang Sora Integrated School and Maria Clara High School.Her Position is Board one,Gold Medalist,Her Score is 5/5.A hundred percent perfect performance. Tandang Sora did not send girl representative,Their School Caloocan High School  got 3 out of 4 spots.Joymee O. Morales 1st place(Gold)5/5[Caloocan High];Pauline Mae C. David 2nd place (Silver)4/5[ Caloocan High],note:Joymee defeated Pauline Mae in the 5th and last round.Marianne Dente 3rd place(Bronze)3/5. An interesting  thing develop in the High School Boys.A Triple Tie amongst, Timbol 5/7,Balmes 5/7and Campo5/7.In the first Tiebreak Blitz,Timbol draws Balmes and Balmes draws  Campo and Campo draws Timbol.2nd round Tiebreak Balmes defeats Timbol, Balmes is defeated by Campo and Campo was defeated byTimbol,ushering the Third Tiebreak.Which would result in a Toss Coin or Drawing of Lots which would be the Last recourse.An arbiter's nightmare if you will.but in the end Campo ,J prevail by 2 straight wins,he gets (Gold) Caloocan City Science high school and followed by Timbol,R (Silver)1win and a loss.Balmes(Bronze).Balmes was straight 5 points without any loss until he lost both round 6 and 7.fr ChessTrainor.
