Nice game. What tournament was this?

.Nf3  I don't think anything was wrong with this move at all.

...c5  Not bad, but I think time was pretty valuable at this stage in the game, and simple development would have been better.

.d5  Yeah, you should have just castled here.

.Nxd5  I would have preferred 11.Qxd5. 11...Nc6 wasn't that brutal.

.Qe4  'Swindle' is a good word for this. This is a nice little tactical variation you pulled off here. Did you really just "overlook" the fork?

...dxc3  Probably the best of a bad lot. 14...Be3 is far from winning. White has the simple 15.Nxd4, or even better is 15.Qxb7.

.b4  Great find! After 16...Qxb4 or 16...Bxd4, white has a huge advantage. If you look at the variations, either way loses the Queen.

.0-0  I think castling was okay, although better was probably 18.Nxc8 Rxc8  19.Bg5. You mentioned 18.Ba6. I am assuming you meant 18.Bh6. I would like to see your winning lines for this move.

.b5  I don't know what to say. It doesn't look that bad. This is a complicated position, but white still seems to have the edge. Then again, it would have taken imaginative play to not let black consolidate, and I don't know what the tournament situation was like. All in all, a well played game. Thanks for sharing.

Nevermind. I'm sure you meant 18.Ba3, which probably is best.
