Seldom do we study drawn games, but if it happens to us,suddenly it becomes very, very interesting!,especially coupled with somewhat surmountable odds and circumstances,in my game i am 1 rook down because i blundered a move and have lesser time with my opponent,Please share your own  drawn games too or somebody else: only criteria is, it is very interesting,"Very interesting draws".I have drawn similar game situations,i think, this is my 12th time and the only difference is,it is writtren down.

My game with bergil,

bergil vs ChessTrainor result: 1/2-1/2 (draw)

Good draw. It looks to me as if white should be able to get a win if he started to push his queenside pawn earlier? I havent looked into deeply. What does anyone else think?

JT, white is completely winning until 51. Kxg3??. If white plays 51. fxg3 it is still a straightforward win.

Hate to do this to you and have not yet completed the game, but you missed an obvious 18 d6+ winning a piece.

Editing here:

Sorry, he missed it, not you, got my sides reversed.

Just finished game, great, ingeneous and unusual draw.

The way Black drew this game is exemplary.

Winning a won game most often is but a matter of technique. A very simple technique of winning a game where one is a whole piece up is to trade down to K+P where the extra piece most often provides TEMPO to oust the opponent from the "opposition".

For example, trading down to K+P vs K+P+Piece is a technique that makes it simple and easy to win.

So, under this principle, in the game after 36...axb3 White wins without much difficulty after 37.Rc8+ Kg7 38.Rxg8+ Kxg8 39.Rxb3  (or 37.Rb8+ Kg7 38.Rxg8+ Kxg8 39.axb3) and White wins very easily. As White could get a queen unhindered: 40.a4, 41.a5, 42. a6, 43.a7 and 44. a8=Q

I have a book somewhere with a study that has the same motive. It really suprised and amazed me back then because it's so easy to overlook such a move. You see the king aproaching the rook and almost instantly think you cant keep checking because the king takes. But he can't :)

I'll try to find the study and post it here.

That was very nicely played

The interesting part of this draw is i am 2 pieces down,Seemingly i could have lost the game,But setting your mind to the next best thing, this i always teach my kids,IT IS BETTER TO DRAW, THAN TO LOSE THE GAME.Better a half point than no point at all!!!The comment of De-lar on my first draw is fitting for this Third draw of mine.I should say it is "neatly played".

Oh!I notice this is the second interesting draw with,Seven11,but this time i am in a contrast mode,if DRAW numero#1 brought JOY and Happy feelin' inside.SmileThis interesting draw made me so mad and furious!!!.Yell, for the simple reason it is really a book draw example. i even called Seven11 ,Stupid! and iam verry sorry for that, i am so intense at that time,And mind you the ARBITER INSIDE  got the better part of me,coz,YOU REALLY CAN NOT WIN ON TIME ALONE IF IT IS A MATE OR A DRAW,AND OUR GAME IS EXACTLY THE GAME EXAMPLE FOUND IN  the  BOOKS.And Seven11 really tried to win by time alone,Well here is that game that made me ,blow my tops off.Draw# 4.Seven11 vs. ChessTrainor.

A CONTRAVERSIAL DRAW,BUT A THEORITICAL DRAW ,WHY BECAUSE THERE IS NO ARBITER OR ARBITRATOR,SAYS CHESS.COM STAFF,MY OPPONENT AGREES TO GIVE MY POINTS BACK.he is holy after all.that is why this draw is very interesting!!!.if with no time constraint the game could go infinity and beyond without any win.i hava press the draw button more than ten times, siloko was observing. Both of us has a Rook and King.

in the technical, i lost on time via 14.7 secs/ 0.00.it is because it was already a draw and my opponent during that time really wants to win via time,in our rule book in the Philippines, this is plain and simple  draw.i said holyknight may have come from the dark ages!
