Hi chesskia,

Can you message me with a summary of what is in these two files.  I mean is it basic checkmates, rook and pawn endgame techniques or what?  Also, who is the author(s) of these files and when what date they written?

As you know Namilov endgame tablebases have converted endgames into scientific technique.  It is no longer a part of the game where you can be creative.  They are a dead certainty.  Of course human beings need more than just lists of moves in algebraic notation to learn and perfect endgame technique.  That is why I am interested in your endgame files.  I am always open to new ideas about the endgame.  Anything that will improve my endgame technique and knowledge.

I have all of John Nunn's endgame books, Secrets of Minor Piece Endings, etc.  I also have Rueben Fine's Basic Chess Endings, complete with all of the Chess Life and Chess Life & Review Larry Evans column corrections going back into the late 1960's.   Also, from my previous post to you, you know that I have Yuri Averbak's Endgame Series(5 volume set).  I don't have the latest CD.

Regards,

Tony
