I guess it's kind a hard to make a top ten of chess players, you like best. But I'd like to add Paul Morphy, Bobby Fischer and Alekhine to your listWink.

Cheparinov is a bulgarian GM, rated around 2690.He is a young talent most known as being Topalov number 1 assistant.Has very good opening preparations and he is often responsible by some novelty bombs that ocasionaly Topalov drops on his opponents(latest victim was Kramnik).

Lembit Oll was an Estonian GM known for his agressive style of play, unfortunately he commited suicide in 1999.At that time he was ranked 42th in Fide Lists

Serguei Movsesian...i chose him for his consistent play and for surprising me,in last FIDE lists he passes the 2700 barrier. He recently placed fourth in last european individual championships reaching 2727 ELO.It s a player to follow and a strong outsider for any competition

Rafael Vaganian for his long career and still playing at high level despite his age.

OK thanks for the info. I found your list a little surprising, that's why I had asked.

Sorry to hear about the suicide.

Yes dyskamyl, i understand my list can be a bit surprising.but any of those 4 players u asked for are excellent.i provide a link to you where Oll wins to Topalov, possibly his best game ever.

What about Karpov? He was the leading tournament player for over ten years.

I played a game against Lembit Oll in Chicago. He was staying with my teacher and gave us a couple of his thoughts while we were analyzing the game.

RIP
