I just bought this book and I am very excited after reading the first few pages. It is sort of a spin-off from "Logical Chess" focusing on "Morphyesque" games only!

Support an independent publisher and buy a copy before they are sold out and you have to buy it 2nd hand for 10x as much.

I do not know the author or have any sort of interest in the publishing project

Somehow the title has a little more authority knowing the author is this guy:

He definitely has the creds. I think he'd get more traction if he put up an excerpt but I already know someone this book would be perfect for. ;)

Hi guys

I'm the author in question (and I'm not as scary as I look!). There should be an excerpt going up on the site soon, but you can check out the book's first review at http://www.chessedinburgh.co.uk/chandlerarticle.php?ChandID=279

Not sure if links are allowed ? - apologies in advance if they're not.

If the book is sold out and second hand copies are going for 10 times as much the publisher has their head up their rear if they don't print more copies.

Hi Miwala, I hope it gets to you on time but it'll be cutting things a bit fine! I'd be interested in any comments/criticisms/questions etc. you may have after reading the book.

In response to Loomis, if it does sell out, rest assured I'll get more copies out there!

What a breath of fresh air! I don't think I've ever seen a chess author willing to explain things without attaching a nominal feeMoney mouth Kudos to you Mr. Streetfighter!
