Is this a good book to buy?  Any opinions on it?  (I am around a 1500, will i find this helpful?)

I have it :). I have not looked through it much, mainly because I prefer 1 e4, but I would say it is pretty good. It has only the main lines though (multiple ones for each opening, fortunately), so be prepared to get out of the book sometimes.

I have this book. I have not been playing d4 that long so it is something I have been refering to. It has decent lines in it to know. I would say it is worth having, of course wether or not these lines are best for any one person probably depends on their strength and playing style. It is a good start in any case though.

The lines are quite difficult if you're rated 1500, unless you're ready to spend a lot of times learning and understanding them.

But the book is very good.
